Scott's GRO1000 initiative will result in the creation of 1,000 community gardens and green spaces by 2018, bringing the benefits that gardens and green spaces provide to neighborhoods, schools and communities, particularly to those areas in need.
GRO1000 Grassroots Grants are designed to help foster community spirit and public service. Awards are available to 501(c)(3) non-profits to bring edible gardens, flower gardens and public green spaces to local neighborhoods throughout the U.S.
